TIL buying a vacuum sealer to save food money was a $130 mistake I still regret
Dropped $130 on a FoodSaver at Costco in March thinking I'd seal up all my leftovers and stop tossing stuff. Turns out I used it for like 2 weeks and now the bags cost more than the food I'm trying to save, plus half the stuff I sealed got freezer burned anyway because I did it wrong. The real kicker is I could've just used cheap deli containers and a roll of plastic wrap for $8. Anyone else fall for the vacuum sealer hype or is it just me being dumb with my money?
