Saw a grocery store in Portland bagging wilted produce for $1 and it made me rethink my whole fridge
They had a whole cart of sad looking peppers and greens marked down to a buck a bag, and half of it looked better than what's been sitting in my crisper for 2 weeks. Has anyone else started shopping the discount rack first to stop throwing stuff out?
Noticed the same thing at my local spot last month and started wondering how long that stuff actually sits before they bag it up. Is it stuff they pulled that morning or is it already on its last legs by the time it hits the dollar bin? Genuinely curious if it lasts you more than a couple days once you get it home.
