Half a shelf of chicken or the freezer bag? Picked wrong and I know it
Last Tuesday I found a pack of chicken thighs dated 3 days past in the fridge, and a frozen bag I bought at Costco back in June. I went with the frozen bag because it felt safer, then read the fresh pack was probably fine if cooked well. Cost me about $14 and I felt silly. How do you all decide when the date on the pack is worth trusting?
