Found a jar of 2019 pasta sauce in the back of my fridge at the cabin
Was up at my folks' place in Lake Tahoe last weekend and dug out a jar of sauce that expired three years ago - the lid was bulging and it smelled like a mix of feet and fermented tomatoes. Has anyone else found something way older than they expected hiding behind the pickles?

@ryanghayes bro that bulging lid is the universe telling you no. Found a 2015 jar of pickled eggs once, nearly gassed myself opening it.

Honestly that bulging lid is a dead giveaway toss it. Had a jar of 2017 salsa blow up in my hand last year, not worth the cleanup.
