Thought those chimney camera kits were a gimmick, then I found 3 cracked flue tiles in one sweep
A guy in Dayton sold me a $180 scope kit at a supply house back in February and I figured it was just a toy for guys who can't feel the brush. Last Tuesday I ran it down a 1920s brick flue I'd swept 6 times before and there were 3 cracked tiles near the smoke shelf I'd never have caught by hand. Anybody else running cameras on every job now or do you save it for the older liners?
