Rant: My $200 inspection camera died inside a flue in Cincinnati yesterday

The cable got snagged on a broken tile and the whole unit just went dark. Anyone have a brand that can actually handle a tight 90-degree bend?

Got a link to the camera you used?

My buddy got the same one @noran21... he said it worked great until his dog knocked it off the table. The lens cracked and it was a whole thing to fix. He still uses it but the pictures have a weird blur in one corner now.

I picked up a Canon EOS Rebel T7 last year and it's been solid for everyday stuff. The battery lasts forever and the autofocus is quick enough for my kids running around. I dropped mine off the coffee table once and the lens hood took the hit, no damage to the glass. If you want something that can take a bump, the T7 with the kit lens is a good budget choice.
