Oh man, that's the universe telling you it's time for an upgrade! At least it went out with a clean break and didn't just give you a sad, floppy bend. Now you've got the perfect excuse to go shopping for a new one. Just hope it didn't happen at the worst possible moment on that job!

Time for an upgrade" feels like a stretch. It's just a broken tool, not a sign from the cosmos. People fix things all the time. A clean break can still be a real pain if you liked that old one. Shopping is not always the only answer. Sometimes a simple repair does the job just fine.
