Appreciation post: the 1890s brick flues at the old mill in Lowell, MA

Toured the mill last weekend and counted 11 chimney stacks on one building, each with a little arched cleanout door at the base, and it got me wondering how sweeps back then handled access on flues that tall, so if anyone here works historic industrial stuff I would love to hear how you rig it.
