Vent: My roommate ate my $2 emergency rice stash and I found out at 1am
So 3 weeks ago I started keeping a big bag of rice and dried beans in the bottom drawer for the days when payday feels 100 years away. My roommate knew the deal, that drawer was my "do not touch" zone. Fast forward to last Thursday at 1am, I get home from a double shift starving, open the drawer, and there's just a lonely bay leaf sitting there. I texted him and he goes "bro I thought it was community rice." Now we split groceries with a sticky note system, but seriously, how do you not know the difference between shared food and someone's backup plan?
