TIL the guy who runs the laundromat on 5th charges $2.75 in quarters only and counts them by hand in front of you
I brought a $20 bill for my wash and dry last week and he just pointed at a hand written sign taped to the change machine that says no bills, coins only. He counted out my quarters one at a time on the counter, then told me a story about a guy who tried to pay with a $50 and got banned for life. Now I keep a coffee can of quarters in my trunk, has anyone else found a place that flat out refuses paper money?
