Showerthought: the guy ahead of me at the gas station in Akron paid cash and it got me thinking
I always figured cash only people were just being stubborn, but last week I stood behind a guy at a gas station in Akron who counted out $23 in ones and fives for his tank and a coffee. He told the clerk it was his weekly gas budget and when it was gone, it was gone, and he seemed totally fine with it. I've been swiping for everything for years and never once thought about a weekly number like that. For those of you on cash, do you set a hard amount per week like that or just carry what feels right?
