Post office hold mail request needed a physical form, what a mess
Went to put my mail on hold for a 2 week trip and the online thing would only take a card, so I had to drive downtown and fill out a paper slip in person. Took me 45 minutes with the line and the clerk had to call a manager to confirm my ID matched the cash receipt I brought. Has anyone else hit this where being cash only makes simple errands turn into whole afternoons?

Bet you never thought a bank transfer would make you lose an afternoon. Cash only folks get stuck with the paper trail every time. At least you got the hold sorted before your trip.
