My ancient cash envelope wallet finally gave out after 14 years
The duct tape I'd been using to hold my envelope system together just stopped working last Tuesday. My grocery envelope (with $47 inside) spilled out all over the parking lot at Kroger. I spent ten minutes chasing bills in the wind, feeling like an idiot. My husband laughed and said I should just get a credit card like normal people, no thanks. I ended up finding a heavy duty binder clip at the hardware store for $2 and it's working fine for now. Has anyone else had their cash system physically fall apart on them? What did you switch to?
