Local market discount for cash made my day

I switched to cash for groceries to avoid overspending. At my usual spot, the owner took a dollar off my total since I used bills. Where else do you find places that give breaks for cash?

Nice! My barber does that too, he knocks off five bucks if you pay in cash. I started keeping a twenty in my glove box just for haircuts, but then I used it for a parking meter and had to dig through my laundry for singles. The struggle is real.

Yeah, my couch has become a coin graveyard too. I tried the cash envelope system last month and now I have three envelopes with no cash in them, just receipts and lint. I swear, I put a twenty in there for groceries and it vanished into thin air. My boyfriend found a five dollar bill stuck to a candy wrapper in my car and acted like he struck gold. It's like my money has legs and walks away when I'm not looking. How do you even keep track of loose change without going crazy?
