I called Sea Foam snake oil for years, then a $9 can saved my 240k mile Ranger
My buddy kept telling me to run Sea Foam through the intake on my '98 Ranger that was misfiring and idling rough, and I told him it was overpriced parts store hype for 3 years straight. I finally caved at the Autozone in Springfield last weekend after a $90 diagnostic quoted a $600 injector job, and the rough idle went away in 40 miles of driving. Now I don't know if I got lucky once or if I've been wrong the whole time, so did any of you write off a cheap fix and then eat your words?
