Hit 200k in my $900 Civic and it only needed a water pump at 190k
Bought it from a neighbor in Phoenix with 178k on the clock, drove it through two summers of 115 degree heat, and when that odometer rolled over to 200k last week I almost didn't believe it, anyone else tracking their cheap car's mileage like it's a trophy?

Man, that's awesome. My old Corolla hit 215k last month and I still get a little thrill every time I see the odometer climb. It's got a check engine light that's been on for two years and burns a quart of oil between changes, but it starts every single morning. The water pump replacement is pretty much the only real fix I've had to do too, those old Japanese cars just refuse to die. Definitely feels like a trophy, especially when I see people my age making car payments on stuff that's worth half of what my beater is. Here's to another 50k for both of us.
