Dropped $340 on a rebuilt alternator for a $1200 Camry and it died in 5 weeks
The parts store said it was tested and good to go, but the voltage regulator was junk and cooked a battery too. Next time I'm pulling one from a pick and pull in Riverside for 40 bucks, anyone else had luck with junkyard electrical parts or is that a bad idea?
