DAE try the $12 bottle of fuel injector cleaner and end up with a car that runs worse?
I dumped it in my $1200 Civic last Saturday and now the thing misfires at stoplights, so tell me if a $60 shop diagnostic is worth it or if I should just drive it out.

Oh boy, been there with a friend's car. He put that stuff in his old Nissan and about a week later it was running rough and stalling at lights, just like yours. Turned out the cleaner broke loose a bunch of gunk that then clogged his fuel filter and messed with the injectors. He tried driving it out for two weeks and it never got better, so he ended up paying for the diagnostic anyway plus the repairs. The shop told him the cleaner can knock debris loose and send it right into the system, which is the opposite of what you want. If it were my car I would skip the guessing and get it looked at, because driving it around like that can foul your plugs or worse. A $60 check is cheaper than a new fuel pump down the road.
