Blew past 250,000 miles on my old Civic last Tuesday and it just hit me different

I was just driving to work like normal when I glanced down and saw 250,000 on the odometer. Didn't even plan to hit it that day. That car cost me $800 cash four years ago from a guy in Tulsa, and I've only put maybe $400 in parts into it since then. Just regular oil changes and one alternator swap. Has anyone else had a beater that just refuses to die way past what you expected?

Those old Hondas will run on basically nothing if you keep the oil changed. A $1200 total investment for a quarter million miles is an insane return on a car. If you start hearing a weird noise from the timing belt area, get that swapped quick before it snaps.
