Talked to an old mechanic about the Dodge Dart and he changed my mind
He said the Dart had potential but they used cheap plastic for the coolant crossover and it warped every time. Has anyone else seen a Dart make it past 80k miles without a major repair?

Drove mine to 92k before trading it in, no major issues.

idk, I think 92k is actually pretty solid for getting out clean. Most of the horror stories I've heard start popping up after 80k, like weird electrical stuff or the transmission starting to act up. I had a buddy who kept his going to 110k and by then he was dumping money into it every other month just to keep it on the road. So yeah, trading before 100k seems like a smart move if you can swing it. Just depends on how lucky you feel with your specific car, I guess.
