Showerthought: My water pump kept dying every 18 months until a guy at the parts counter in Dayton asked one weird thing
I was topping off coolant with straight water for two summers because it was cheaper, and that's what ate the seals. He said run the 50/50 mix and mine has lasted four years now. Is straight water fine in a pinch or am I asking for the same problem again?
