My 2015 Ford Focus transmission died at 60k miles, dealership said it was normal

I bought a 2015 Ford Focus new back in 2015 and last month at exactly 60,341 miles the transmission started jerking super bad. Took it to the dealership in Phoenix and they said the DPS6 dual-clutch is known for this and there's a class action settlement but no fix. Has anyone else had their Focus shudder so bad it feels like you're learning to drive stick again?

Dude that "learning to drive stick again" part is exactly how I'd describe mine. I had a 2014 Focus and at 45k miles the thing started shuddering so bad going from first to second that I thought the engine was going to fall out. Took it to the dealer three times and they just did the reflash and told me it's "normal behavior." Did yours ever stall out at a stoplight? Because mine would lurch forward like it was going to take off without me touching the gas.

The shudder was the exact same thing that finally pushed me to trade mine in.
