100k miles in my 2012 wagon and the glovebox latch finally gave up

Hit 100,000 miles this Tuesday and that same day the glovebox door just stopped staying shut, which is weird because the engine and transmission never skipped a beat, but the plastic piece nobody touches broke at exactly the milestone number, has anyone else had a dumb interior part fail right as they hit a big odometer mark?

Buddy of mine had his rearview mirror just drop off the windshield in his old Civic the day after he rolled 150k. Not the glass, the whole arm, just gave up while he was sitting at a red light. He had to hold it in one hand and drive with the other to get home. Car ran like a champ for another 60k after that but the stupid mirror was never the same once he glued it back on... weird how these cars pick their moments like that.
