Used to park my Mustang at the back of the lot, now I park right up front. Am I wrong?
For about two years I always parked at the far end of the Cars and Coffee lot, away from everyone. My thinking was simple: door dings, coffee spills, kids on scooters. Then a guy named Roger at the Springfield meet told me my car looked like I was ashamed of it, and that stuck with me. So I switched it up and started parking right in the middle row up front, where people walk by. The good part is I get way more questions and compliments, and I have met some good folks that way. The bad part is I came out to a door ding after one Saturday in July, and a kid smeared a chocolate croissant on my rear quarter panel. So now I am stuck between hiding in the back like a hermit or showing the car off and risking damage. Which way do you all lean, front row for the attention or back row for the peace of mind?
