The guy parked next to me at the Saturday meet in Fresno said my engine bay looked like a storage unit
I had zip ties and a rat's nest of wires everywhere and he just pointed at his own setup, all loom and labeled lines, then handed me a $7 roll of split loom from his trunk. Spent two hours that afternoon cleaning it up and now people actually lean in to look instead of walking past. What's your trick for hiding the ugly stuff without pulling the whole harness?
That $7 roll of loom has saved more engine bays than any fancy kit ever will. My trick is to start at the firewall and work outward, bundling wires by where they actually go instead of trying to hide everything at once. Zip ties are fine for holding stuff in place, but swap the visible ones for black ones so they don't scream at you from across the parking lot. Also, tuck runs along the frame rails or behind the intake where eyes don't land, and leave a little slack so nothing rubs. Nobody cares if it's perfect underneath, they just see the top layer, so that's where you spend your time.
