Switched from a phone timer to a kitchen timer for my coffee meet prep and it saved my bacon Saturday
I used to roll into the Saturday meet at 7am at the lot on Elm St with my phone buzzing every 5 minutes trying to time when to roll the car out and when to grab coffee, and last weekend I grabbed a $6 wind-up kitchen timer from the hardware store instead. Phone kept distracting me with texts and I missed my window twice, but the dumb little timer just ticked away and I hit my spot right when the good parking opened up. Anyone else got a low-tech trick that beats using your phone at these meets, or am I the only one who can't stop scrolling long enough to park?
