My buddy Dale said the meet at the diner on 8th is better than the big one at the mall, and now I can't pick a side
Last Saturday I was grabbing coffee with my buddy Dale before heading to the usual meet at the mall lot on the north side, and he told me straight up he quit going there 4 months ago because it turned into a bunch of guys standing around their own cars not saying a word to anyone. He said the small meet behind the diner on 8th is way better, like 15 cars max, everyone pops their hoods, and some old guy named Ray brings donuts every single time. So I went with him and honestly it was fun, but the mall lot still pulls 60 plus cars and you see way more builds, so I'm stuck on what actually makes a meet good. Part of me thinks a meet is about the people and part of me thinks it's about the cars, and Dale's point was that a big lot just means more people to ignore you. He also said the diner lets them stay til 10 and the mall kicks everyone out at 8, which I never thought about before. So which one wins for you guys, the small meet where you actually know names or the big one where you see ten times the rides? And if you had to pick one to keep every month, which one goes?
