Guy at the Riverside meet called my engine bay a dirt museum and I'm still mad he was correct
Last month at the Riverside Cars and Coffee, a guy named Dave looked under my hood for maybe 4 seconds and asked if I stored my spare potting soil in there. I laughed it off at the time, but then I spent two Saturdays with a $9 brush kit and a bottle of degreaser and found crud from what looks like 2017. Now I wipe down the bay after every wash, which is annoying but the compliments at the next meet were worth it. Anyone else get roasted into better habits by a total stranger?

The wild part is those roasts stick harder than any advice from a guy who actually likes you. Dave did you a favor and doesnt even know it, and now some other poor guy at the next meet is gonna get the same treatment from you lol.
