Figured the Saturday morning meet was just old dudes standing around, then a guy in a beat up Miata changed my mind
I skipped the 7am meet at the diner on Route 9 for months because I figured it was all lawn chairs and boring small talk about oil brands. Then a guy rolled up in a primer gray Miata with 312,000 miles on it and spent 20 minutes showing me how he fixed his own top for 40 bucks, and the whole group crowded around like it was a new supercar. Does the meet near you actually have people who build stuff, or is it mostly parked cars and coffee cups?
