Tried a 6 inch overlap on the seam in a spare bedroom and it showed through the pad
Did a glue-down seam with a 6 inch overlap on the pad in a spare bedroom off Franklin Ave last month, figuring it would hide better than a butt cut. When I flipped it back the pad ridge pressed right through the face and you could see the line under the light. Switched to a 4 inch overlap and a fresh blade before the second try, and it laid flat. Has anyone found a reliable way to knock down that pad edge without cutting into the backing?
