The apartment tower stairwell that wrecked my back for 2 days

Got sent to a 12-floor high rise downtown last Tuesday and every landing had this weird rounded bullnose that made my seams lift no matter what I did, so I finally started carrying a 2x4 to staple against the edge and honestly, has anyone else dealt with those curved stairways or am I the only one who hates them?
