PSA: That cheap seam roller from the discount bin cost me a whole afternoon
The handle broke off halfway through a 400 sq ft job, and the seam tape didn't bond right. Had to redo the whole seam and lost about $200 in time. What's a good heavy-duty brand that won't quit on you?

That's why you never buy tools from the bargain bin.

Been burned by that before, @leo_thomas2? (I'm guessing yes.) What kind of tool was it that broke on you, and was it the first time you used it or did it just give up after a while? Makes you wonder if they're using cheaper metal or something.

54 bucks for a "pro grade" socket set at a big box store and the 10mm snapped on the third use. Stick with brands that actually back their stuff with a real warranty, not just a sticker.
