PSA: Folded carpet rolls from delivery are killing our finish

I just unrolled a brand new carpet that had a huge bend in the middle. This keeps happening because delivery guys stack rolls flat in the truck. That fold sets into the backing and won't stretch out no matter what you do. The customer sees a line and thinks I did a bad job. It's not our fault, but we take the heat. Warehouses need to ship rolls standing up, not lying down. I'm starting to turn away jobs if the carpet shows up like this.

I've probably caused a few of those folds myself, oops.

So when you say you're starting to turn away jobs, does that actually work to get the warehouses to change? Because @piper696 admitting they've done it makes me wonder if the delivery guys even know it causes a permanent problem. What's the point of rushing a delivery if it just gets refused and sent back?
