My seam roller handle snapped clean off yesterday
It was a cheap one I've had for years, finally gave out right in the middle of a big glue-down job. Had to finish the seam pressure with a leftover piece of baseboard, which actually worked okay in a pinch. Anyone have a brand they trust that won't break after a few seasons?

Yeah, willow_king's right about those little time bombs... everything feels like it's on a hidden timer.

That "finally gave out" part is the real story. It feels like everything is built to hit that exact moment, right when you need it most. My can opener did the same thing last week during a storm. We're surrounded by these little time bombs of planned failure. I've had good luck with the basic Wagner roller, the metal one. It's not fancy but the handle is solid.

Wait, the Wagner roller? I thought they made those weird hot glue guns, not paint rollers. You sure you don't mean the Whizz roller? That's the one I always see people swear by, the cheap one with the plastic handle that's actually indestructible. I've had mine for like 8 years now, and it's survived three moves and a garage flood.
