Finally got the hang of that tricky seam on a 20-year-old Berber in a split-level house
I had to pick between using a power stretcher on the tricky corner or just hand-kicking it, and going with the hand-kick after three tries gave me a seam you can't even feel with your feet.

Going with the hand-kick" is how you find the right fix for any stubborn problem.

haha hand-kick sounds like something I'd do after tripping over my own carpet. I've been known to "accidentally" kick things when trying to fix them, like that time I was trying to get my old vacuum to work and just ended up punting it across the room. It actually fixed the weird grinding noise, so maybe there's something to this method. My wife says I'm just clumsy, but I call it a hands-free troubleshooting technique.
