After struggling for ages, I finally got a berber to lay flat in a huge living area
Used a new technique with the seam roller. Honestly felt like a mini victory when it was done.

Berber carpet laying flat is worth celebrating? Lol, I just deal with the bumps and move on.

I used to agree, but dealing with bumps got old fast.

A seam roller is key for those long seams... really lean into it with your body weight. I also mist the backing with a spray bottle before rolling, just a little water to help it relax. Let it dry flat overnight with some heavy books on the worst spots. The big area makes it tricky but going slow section by section works.
