Why does nobody talk about pencil lead grades for marking wet lumber?
Last week I grabbed a 4H pencil to mark a cut on some soaked pressure treated stuff and the line basically vanished before I got the circular saw running. Switched to a flat carpenter pencil, sharpened to a chisel point, and it left a groove you could follow in the dark. Has anyone else had to keep multiple lead grades on site just for rain days?
