Tried to level a cabinet in a client's kitchen and somehow ended up taking out their entire backsplash

I was in a split level house in Portland last Tuesday using a 4 foot level on a upper cabinet, leaned a little too hard, and the whole thing tipped sideways into the tile behind it. Has anyone else had a job spiral that fast over something so small?

Patching the grout lines and repainting the tiles hid the damage pretty well.

Tile can crack from all sorts of things, a bumped cabinet might not have been the actual problem. Might be more about how it was installed than what you did.
