Just realized my 'cheap' miter saw was costing me more in time
I was dead set against spending $600 on a Bosch miter saw for years, figured my $150 Ryobi from 2018 was good enough. But last month on a job in Seattle I borrowed a buddy's newer DeWalt and cut through 40 baseboards in about half the time I usually take. The cuts were cleaner too, almost no sanding needed. Has anyone else switched to a higher end saw and noticed a big difference in your daily pace?

Had a buddy named Mike who was the same way with his miter saw for years. He finally broke down and grabbed a Festool after I kept bugging him about how much time he was wasting fighting with his old Makita. First weekend he trimmed out a whole basement in like 4 hours, said he used to spend almost a full day on that kind of work. The dust collection was so good he barely had to sweep up too. He's been kicking himself ever since for not making the switch sooner, and he always tags me or @lily_stone76 in posts about tools now saying we were right.
