I used a cheap cordless nailer for a fence job last month and it was a total waste of time compared to my pneumatic one.

Ugh, I feel your pain! Spencer_kelly is right, those cordless ones just don't have the same power.

Battery tech just isn't there yet for sustained high torque. My neighbor's cordless model bogs down halfway through a thick branch, but his old corded one chews right through. You're basically trading power for convenience.
