Am I the only one who thinks 40 hours on one cabinet door is way too much?
I finally counted the hours on my last kitchen job and hit 40 just on one cabinet door. Half the guys say you should spend that much time getting the frame and panel perfect, the other half say you're nuts and should just buy pre-made doors. I sanded, fitted, and sanded again 6 times before the gap was even, and it still bugs me. Is it worth the time, or am I just slow? What do you all do for doors that take forever?
