After the deck in Bend, I'll never use standard joist hangers on a 45-degree corner again without the special angled ones.
The angled ones took me an extra 20 minutes to install but the inspector said they were the only reason the framing passed after the snow load test, so has anyone found a good supplier for them that doesn't charge a fortune?

Check the code, because those angled hangers are almost always required for a 45. Your inspector was right to flag it. I just get mine from the local lumberyard to avoid shipping costs.

Totally agree with what sarahc53 said about the code, that's the whole point. I saw a deck fail because someone tried to force standard hangers and the wood just split under weight. Jennifer516 is right about the crazy prices though, it's a racket. I ended up finding a decent online spot that sells them in bulk packs for way less per piece, which helped a lot on my last job. The extra time installing them is nothing compared to redoing a whole corner, lol.
