Serious question, did a ride-along with a master plumber on a Tuesday in Fresno change how you run your own crew?
I run a small plumbing crew and back in March I spent a Tuesday riding along with a guy named Ray who has 30 years in the trade. I thought I already knew how to run a job, but watching him hand a rookie the torch on a simple water heater swap, then just stand back and let him mess up a fitting twice, did something to my head. Now I'm wondering if I've been too quick to jump in and fix stuff myself instead of letting my guys learn, and I want to know if anyone else had a moment like this that shifted how they lead a crew.
