Dropped $400 on a career coach who just told me to update my LinkedIn

Met with her 4 times over 6 weeks in Austin and got nothing but buzzwords and a resume template I could have googled. She charged me $100 a session to say "network more" and never once looked at my actual field. Has anyone here actually gotten a job from one of these coaches or is this whole thing a scam?
