Vent: a recruiter in Dallas told me to take the $48k offer because 'nobody hires 52 year olds'
I took the $61k job two weeks later, so now I don't know if the safe move is really safer or if that advice just keeps people stuck. Who else has gone against this kind of 'be realistic' talk, and how did it play out?
