Unpopular opinion: shadowing someone for 2 weeks beat my $1,200 online course
Last year I paid $1,200 for an online data course and finished it still not knowing how to handle a real messy spreadsheet, then in March I shadowed a analyst at a company in Austin for 2 weeks and learned more in the first 3 days. The difference was she showed me why certain columns get cleaned a specific way and how to ask the right questions when a report looks off. Has anyone else had a hands on situation teach them way more than a paid class did?
