Took me way longer than I thought to figure out my scheduling software

I run my own dog grooming shop, and I switched to a new booking system last January. Thought I'd have it all set up in like a week, but it actually took me close to 3 months to get everything working right. The big hangup was getting the client reminder texts to actually send on time instead of randomly at 3am. Has anyone else had a simple tech thing eat up way more time than expected?

Nailed it with a scheduling update last month and ended up accidentally double booking a Great Dane and a chihuahua at the SAME time, so yeah, I feel your pain. The 3am texts sound like a special kind of nightmare though!

Yell at the clients who text at 3am. Seriously, set boundaries or they'll walk ALL over you. I tell people straight up that emergencies get a call not a text at 3 in the morning. Double booking a Great Dane and a chihuahua is hilarious though, I bet that was a WILD meeting. But yeah, the late night texts need to stop or you'll burn out fast.
