I was shocked to learn most job listings stay up for just 5 days before getting pulled
Found this stat from an HR blog last month - they said over 60% of postings are taken down within a week because the hiring manager already found someone internal or through referrals. Now I always apply within 48 hours of seeing a new listing. Anyone else notice jobs disappearing this fast?

My company reposts the same listing every month to build a candidate database.

fr that's why i think some of those quick takedowns are actually companies testing the market to see who's actively watching, not necessarily hiring
