Had to choose between a stable job at a local bank or a startup gig in Austin. I picked the startup. It's been 6 months and I'm not sure.

I'm not sure" is the real problem here. You need to figure out what would make you sure, like a clear goal or timeline. What's the one thing that would make the startup feel worth it to you?

Yeah but I see it a little different honestly. The whole "find your one non-negotiable outcome" thing @jakelee mentioned sounds clean in theory but real life is messy. Sometimes you don't know what will make you sure until you're already deep in it and things start clicking or falling apart. I've seen people get paralyzed trying to nail down the perfect goal before they even start moving.
