30 rejection emails in 60 days, then 3 callbacks this week

I've been applying for junior dev roles since March and honestly lost count of the no's. I hit exactly 30 rejections last Friday, which felt rough but also kind of freeing because I knew I'd done my best. Then out of nowhere I got 3 callbacks this week, one from a small agency that wants me to do a technical screen. I guess my tweaked portfolio page with the live projects finally clicked with somebody. Is it normal for callbacks to come in a wave like this or did I just get lucky?
